Pick a Word Impostor mode to suit your group and the kind of round you're after. They all run in the browser with a quick room code. What changes from mode to mode is what you're trying to hide or figure out.

How to Choose a Mode

New group? Start with Classic. One round and everyone's got the loop: describe your word without saying it, catch the clue that doesn't fit, then vote. From there, Wereword brings in yes/no questioning and hidden roles, and Spyfall turns it into a location guess where one player, the Spy, never gets the place.

Double Agent and Hardcore are for tables that already know the basics; the setup's the same, there's just more pressure. Pick Double Agent when you want two impostors quietly covering for each other, and Hardcore when you want shorter turns, stricter clues, and faster reads.

Available Game Modes

Classic

Core social deduction with standard rules. Most players share a word, impostors get a related word, and everyone votes after clues and discussion.

Wereword

A tense yes/no deduction mode where the Mayor knows the word, hidden roles steer the table, and villagers race the clock to solve both word and liar.

Spyfall

Hidden-location deduction where agents know the place and the Spy starts blind. Ask careful questions, answer naturally, and catch the Spy before they guess.
